Learn to weave a fun “bag-ette” with this all-in-one kit by fiber artist Susy Perrine of Woolwich, ME. Using simple techniques you will weave in the round to create a handy small bag, big enough to carry your keys and phone, passport, or other treasure. Susy's handspun and dyed yarn (GORGEOUS by the way!) is extra-bulky and will weave up quickly. Finish by adding the enclosed shoulder strap, felted closure flap, and button. Cotton calico fabric will be included if you wish to add a lining. Your finished little bag will measure about 4.5" wide x 5.5" tall. Included in this full kit are: 60" cord for handle, large eye needle, thread, metal binder clip, rubber band, felt closure flap, fabric lining, and a 4.25" x 12" board loom, and handspun bulk yarn. This set of 2 matching hand-embroidered vintage pillowcases has been given a new life with a fresh dye of an earthy pink color using the Shibori resist dye method. The exquisite hand work of the embroidered design stands out and allows for many more years of enjoyable use. Jamie loves to find handmade pieces that need some love and rescue them.
