Punch Needle Embroidery Workshop -In Person

11am-6pm (please note time change!)

Instructor and artist Bonnie Faulkner will teach you the fun art of Punch Needle Embroidery.  Punch needle is a member of the rug hooking family and many find it to be gentler on aging and arthritic hands. We’ll use a hoop and embroidery floss with a special needle to penetrate weaver’s cloth to create your design. Some have described this technique as ‘painting with thread’. Your design can be your own or you can choose from several designs made by the instructor (pictured here). We’ll be working on a 4″ x 4” design.

Please bring a small scissor, if possible.   Don’t forget your eyeglasses!!!

All tools and materials will be provided for you to use during the class and you’ll keep your punch needle and hoop to take home to create more ‘paintings with thread’!
