Nuno felting is a wet felting technique that incorporates a very thin, open mesh fabric with wool. Local fiber artist Betsey Leslie of Ewes To You in New Gloucester, ME will teach you how this Japanese word for cloth, “Nuno,” layers the wool into the fabric to create an extremely light-weight felt.  We will be making a nuno felted scarf with wool curls as tassels.  You will be using silk chiffon fabric, wool, and cashmere to create a beautiful wearable scarf of your own design.

All materials will be provided.

Arrive empty handed and leave with a bright new scarf to wear.  Felt a scarf and take it home with you!

After attending the workshop, you will be able to make nuno-felted products on your own at home.
