Learn the basics of needle felting wool and creating 3-dimensional sculptures with Shaker Village neighbor and friend Betsey Leslie of Ewes to You Farm in New Gloucester.  Needle felting is the process of transforming wool into 3D objects using a barbed needle. When you felt wool, you’re agitating the fibers so they bond together, creating a solid fabric.

In this workshop we will create a whole bunch of felted colorful balls to turn into a garland or accent pieces for your crafts. We will make simple one-color rounds as well as acorn capped and fancy designs of your own creation!

All supplies will be provided and you can take home the felting needles, foam block, and extra wool to continue felting at home.

Great for beginners! All ages welcome (children must be supervised due to sharp needles.)

Maximum class size: 8
