It’s finally that time of year!! Lavender harvest at Shaker Village!

Come and join us as we enjoy the first sign of summer in the garden. Learn how we grow, harvest and dry our lavender here at Shaker Village. Event starts at 10am with a quick tour of the historic herb gardens before we harvest the lavender. Sit among all the purple blooms and enjoy the overwhelming smells as we bundle flowers and work along side one another at one of the oldest farms here in Maine!

Where to meet: Shaker Herb Garden across from the Shaker Store

Please wear clothes and shoes that can get garden-dirty and wear a sun-hat.  Bring a bagged lunch.  Sunscreen & bug spray will be provided.

This event is family-friendly and open to all ages & abilities. Please pre-register below, if you can, so that we can plan to have enough supplies available for everyone.
