Important Change of Date!

The Shaker Herb House will be lifted on THURSDAY, May 23rd. A time of day for the building lift will be announced early next week.

Contractors continue to plan the complicated rigging necessary to install the steel understructure required to lift the 40′ by 80′ building. These delicate and precise steps now require an additional day of installation.

Please expect a follow-up email next week to confirm a time on Thursday. We hope to see you onsite for this once-in-a-lifetime extraordinary milestone in the rehabilitation of America’s only remaining Shaker Herb House.
