Herbal Kitchen Basics – Morning
Saturday, June 24, 2017, 10am – 12pm
The Shakers marketed herbal products as early as 1799, launching an herb business that has endured for over 200 years.
Using herbs grown in the Shakers’ historic gardens, participants will learn how to make wonderful seasonings from fresh and dried herbs. Master gardener Betsey Golon will teach you how to make and take home herbal salt, herbal pepper, herbal infused oil, herbal infused vinegar, and a custom no-salt herb blend.
